Are there any set up costs?
Unlike many pay card providers, with Premier Pay Cards there are no set up costs at all for the employer or the employee. There are no implementation fees, no per card fees and no set up fees.
Is there a contract involved with this program?
There are no contracts, no credit checks, everyone is approved
Do I have to change my payroll processor?
No, you simply have let your processor know that you want your employees pay direct deposited to the account the pay card is assigned to.
If I do my own payroll how do I get the funds on the card?
Just notify your bank that you want to offer direct deposit to your employees and provide the bank with the routing and account numbers assigned to the cards.
How do I know of my funds are secure?
All funds are FDIC insured. All transactions are secured by major branded credit card networks.
Do all my employees have to be on this program?
If employees have direct deposit to a checking or savings account already they do not have to participate in this program. However they do have the option of having a portion of their pay placed on the card and the rest going to another account. Many employers are simply notifying their employees that their pay is now going to be loaded the pay card and they can transfer funds to any account they want at no cost to them. They can also have funds automatically withdrawn form their pay card to pay utility’s and other recurring payments they have.
Do my employees have to have a bank account to participate in this program?
Employees do not have to have a bank account to participate. The Premier Pay Card functions as a bank account for un-banked employees. They can even reload funds to the card and have sources of income deposited to the card.
How do I get pay cards for new employees?
We can provide you with some temporary cards that you can issue to new employees. These cards will fill the gap of time until their permanent cards arrive.
